Don’t miss this year’s ACAA Refugee Week Festival, taking place at West London's Cranford Community College, High Street, Hounslow TW5 9PD on Sunday, 23rd June 2024, from 10 AM to 8 PM. This combined arts festival, funded by the Arts Council, focuses on Afghanistan and Central Asia. The event marks Refugee Week, an annual celebration of the contributions, creativity, and resilience of refugees, themed this year around ‘Our Home’. The family-friendly festival showcases music, dance, crafts, and food provided by DARBAR Restaurant, featuring authentic Afghan cuisine prepared with love.

 Highlights of the Festival:
- Food by DARBAR Restaurant: Indulge in delicious Afghan dishes prepared with love by DARBAR Restaurant, bringing you the true flavors of Afghanistan.
- Music and Dance: Performances by Gheezaal Enayat, Hashmat Ehsanmand, Hamid Taban, Timor Shaidaie, Ziba Tabrizi, Tamim Yousefi, DJ Bass, Suleiman Omar, Yusuf Mahmood, Anja Samim, Najib, Yasin Mansuri, Hamid Erfan, and Sara. Hosted by Nazira Karimi.
- Children's Activities: Including face painting and a bouncy castle.
- Crafts and Arts: Explore crafts from Afghanistan and Central Asia.

About the Organiser:
The Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA) is a West London-based charity offering education, mentoring, and integration support to refugees in the UK. ACAA advocates for the rights of women in Afghanistan. Founded by Dr. Nooralhaq Nasimi, a refugee from Afghanistan, in 1999, the organization plays a crucial role in supporting the refugee community. Dr. Nasimi was awarded the MBE in the 2023 New Year Honours List for his contributions.

انجمن افغانستان و آسیای میانه با افتخار تقدیم می‌کند!

پنجمین جشنواره‌ی بزرگ تابستانی به مناسبت هفته مهاجران در لندن، با هدف بالا بردن آگاهی درباره پناهندگان و ایجاد روزنه‌ای برای همبستگی، درک و همدلی بیشتر جامعه پناهندگان در بریتانیا، امسال بزرگ‌تر و با شکوه‌تر از همیشه برگزار می‌شود.

در این جشنواره‌ی یک روزه، هنرمندان مشهور و محبوب ما اجرا خواهد داشت.

با حضور ویژه آوازخوان پرآوازه غزال عنایت!

همچنین حشمت احسانمند، تیمور شیدایی، یوسف محمود، یاسین منصوری و حمید تابان اجرا و آوازخوانی خواهند کرد. حمید عرفان از کشور ایران هم آهنگ‌های ایرانی اجرا خواهد کرد و موسیقی بیشتر از سوی دی‌جی «باس» پخش خواهد شد. همچنین گروه‌های رقص هنرنمایی خواهند کرد.

این برنامه از طرف نذیره کریمی،‌ مجری سرشناس گردانندگی خواهد شد تا این روز را هرچه بیشتر پرخاطره بسازد.
